Stamps

I don't know what's up with Canada Post, but I seriously don't understand what's so Canadian about these new permanent stamps.

I know that most people don't even buy stamps, but I still love collecting them.
Here is what the post office thinks to be Canadian to be on our stamps:

• Canadian Coast Guard
• Vintage Van - what??
• Nicolas Gill in Athens - he won gold medal in Judo - ok.. that's pretty Canadian
• Pierre Leuders on bobsled - he won gold medal in bobsled - ok.. I guess that's pretty Canadian too
• Young child with flag - what??
